Museum of Art and History

The Museum of Art and History in Lancaster, California, comprises four locations, including MOAH and the Western Hotel Museum, showcasing over 10,000 works and artifacts that highlight local and global artists and the region's cultural legacy.

Strengthening awareness and appreciation of art, history, and culture in the Antelope Valley is the museum's mission, achieved through dynamic exhibitions, educational programs, and community engagement, with special attention to honoring the region's Indigenous heritage.

Community-oriented programming is central to the museum's activities, which include an artist-in-residence program and weekly programs that activate the region's youth and young adults, alongside a diverse exhibition program.

Free admission makes the museum accessible, though donations are appreciated, and a shop sells items inspired by exhibitions, such as pins, merchandise, and books, with rentals and a vault store also available.

Seasonal variations apply to the museum's opening hours, which change throughout the year.
